Towards the Light - Painting

€8,150.00

While creating Towards the Light, Veronica reflected on the process of becoming — the quiet yet profound transformation that unfolds within you, the deep inner work, and the shifts you must move through as you grow.

This painting captures that experience: a delicate balance between stillness and movement, an emotional journey toward the light.

Towards the Light is a part of Veronica’s latest painting collection - Becoming.

“Becoming” collection is about the ever evolving transformation happening within - the deep work, the growth, the unseen and the shifts towards feeling lighter and renewed.

Veronica’s latest work, Toward the Light, will be exhibited for the first time at Art The Hague, October 14–18, in The Hague, Netherlands.

About The Artist

Veronica Grankina is a Ukrainian-American abstract painter based in Philadelphia, USA, and The Hague, Netherlands.

Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree from the Kyiv State University of Culture and Arts, as well as an MA in Art Therapy and an MBA from Drexel University.

Veronica’s background in art and psychology shapes her creative practice, extending beyond aesthetics to a visual language rooted in emotional depth and psychological insight.

“Drawing visual inspiration from the organic rhythms of nature, I explore the tension between spontaneity and control, softness and strength, ultimately settling into a place of balance and peace within each painting.

Life is not linear, and neither is my work. I’ve lived many lives, but art is where everything I have experienced comes together”

— Veronica Grankina
